About This Project

Project Type: Design of new SPoT Coffee locations on Delaware Avenue, Hertle Avenue and Transit Road in Buffalo, as well as in Glens Falls, Orchard Park and Saratoga Springs.

Square Footage: 18,000+ sq. ft. over six locations

Project Scope and Concept: As with all new Spot Coffee locations, HB Cornerstone was engaged to support the site search, evaluation, acquisition, lease negotiations, design development and presentation, construction document production, municipal approvals, bidding support, contract negotiations and construction management. In addition we consult with SPoT regarding process improvement and equipment planning refinements. This “bundled” package of services provides an omnibus process of continual quality improvement. We work regularly with SPoT to understand what works (and doesn’t work) in its various existing locations, and to determine current café design and operational trends so as to develop their evolving standards for current and future projects.

Services Provided: HB Cornerstone is the exclusive design services provider for the SPoT Coffee and Café chain of locations. In all locations, we provide location search, due diligence and evaluation services, lease consultation, municipal approvals and construction management services.
